Try these easy recall tips
Forget your keys again? Science shows we do lose a little ability to learn new information and recall it after age 50, but you can keep your memory sharp. Here’s how:
Get enough sleep and reduce stress. Too little of the first and too much of the latter can sabotage your memory.
Taking medications? Some affect memory. Talk to your doctor about changing your prescription or the dosage if you notice problems with your meds.
Stick to your routine. Place your glasses and keys in the same place every day so you won’t have to remember where you left them.
Pay attention to what you are doing. This gives your brain’s memory systems time to create a lasting memory.
Skip distracting environments and don’t try to become the multitasking champion. Both are the major memory busters in our fast-paced society.
